These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Home Expert Remodel website located at www.homeexpertremodel.com (the "Site") and the renovation, remodeling, and construction services provided by Home Expert Remodel ("we," "our," "us"). By accessing the Site, submitting forms, or booking services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.

All quotes issued by Home Expert Remodel are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Quotes are fixed-price unless explicitly noted otherwise. The quoted price includes labor, materials specified in the proposal, project management, and applicable taxes. Pricing does not include:
Any change orders must be documented in writing and signed by both the Client and the Company before work proceeds.
Project timelines are estimates based on scope, material availability, weather conditions, and permitting timelines. While we strive to complete projects on schedule — and 94% of our projects finish on or before the original completion date — we are not liable for delays caused by:
The Company will notify the Client promptly of any anticipated delays and provide revised timelines.
Invoices are due within 7 days of issuance. Late payments accrue interest at 1.5% per month (18% APR). The Company reserves the right to suspend work on any project with past-due invoices.
Financing options are provided by third-party lenders. Loan terms, rates, and approval are determined solely by the lender. The Company is not a party to financing agreements and bears no responsibility for lender decisions or loan servicing.
Home Expert Remodel provides a 10-year workmanship warranty on labor for all renovation projects. Estate-tier projects qualify for lifetime workmanship warranty. This warranty covers defects in workmanship under normal use and does not cover:
Material manufacturer warranties are passed through to the Client. The Company will assist with claim filing but is not the warranty provider for materials.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability for any claim arising from services provided shall not exceed the total contract amount paid by the Client for the specific project giving rise to the claim. The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of use, loss of income, loss of profit, or emotional distress.
The Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Home Expert Remodel, its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from: (a) the Client's breach of these Terms; (b) the Client's misrepresentation or failure to disclose material information; (c) the Client's failure to obtain necessary approvals or permits; or (d) third-party claims arising from the Client's use of the renovated property.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. The following cancellation terms apply:
All content on the Site including text, graphics, logos, images, design renderings, and software is the property of Home Expert Remodel or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without prior written consent. Design renderings created for a specific Project become the Client's property upon final payment.
By submitting a review or testimonial, you grant Home Expert Remodel a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, edit, and display that content in marketing materials. You may revoke this permission in writing at any time, after which we will remove the content within 30 days. We may use project photos (interior/exterior) in marketing unless you opt out in writing.
Your use of our Site and services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
Newsletter subscribers may unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email, through our unsubscribe page, or by emailing info@homeexpertremodel.com. We process unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
The Site may contain links to third-party websites and references to third-party service providers (lenders, material suppliers, smart home platforms). We do not control and are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of third-party services. Your interactions with third parties are solely between you and them.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or our services shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 60 days, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Powell, Ohio, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be conducted in English. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. Each party bears its own attorney fees unless the arbitrator finds a claim frivolous.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action not subject to arbitration shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Delaware County, Ohio.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Site or services after modifications constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any signed service agreements, constitute the entire agreement between you and Home Expert Remodel and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, proposals, and understandings.
